By default, SiteFarm will list the terms in your vocabularies in alphabetical order. In some cases, you may want to impose a specific custom order for those terms.

In the SiteFarm site, we use three custom terms in our Person Type vocabulary:

• Developers & Designers
• Management
• Service & Support

In our use case, it makes sense to have Management listed at the top instead of in alphabetical order. To change that, you can use the pull handle (shaped like a plus sign) located just to the left of a term and drag 'n' drop it where you want it to appear in the list.

The screenshot example shows our existing type order, but if a change needed to occur to have our support members listed first, the term could be pulled to the using the corresponding pull handle.

Once you make an order change you will be prompted to Save your update. To cancel the change, refresh your browser or navigate away from the page.

The end result outputs the list of people first by Type and then in alphabetical order within each type. Take a look at our Team page for a live example.
