SiteFarm is the name of the content management system (CMS) service on the UC Davis campus. It represents an evolution in technology and a new phase in the life of the campus-supported CMS service, which initially was based on the Cascade Server software created by Hannon Hill, but will be now be run on Drupal.
SiteFarm is managed by a dedicated team located in Information & Educational Technology (IET) that seeks to provide a robust, feature-rich, easy-to-use web solution to eligible users across campus.
Clients will be able to request a site instance through SiteFarm, which will then be created and hosted on Acquia’s Cloud Site Factory. The service is free of charge to clients.
We’ll assist you from your initial request all the way through to launching your unit’s digital experience on-line. This includes on-going support through documentation and service requests via ServiceNow ticketing.
