When the default directory listing isn't as granular as you need it to be to clearly denote the hierarchical order of your unit, especially as it relates to your leadership, consider creating your own custom Person List block to help you achieve your goal.
The featured people block is a system block (View) that will pull in information from an already-created Person page in your site. If you don't already have the profile completed, learn how to create a person page now.
Please note that Bulk Actions is not functioning properly due to a bug in Core. This is a known issue and will be resolved when a fix becomes available.
This interface is intended for departments with a significant number of person pages to manage for their directory system. Based on a similar layout to the All Content screen, the screen will allow you to search, filter, and make bulk changes to your collection of profiles.
